Exterior baseboard trim

I've removed all of the clapboards and trim from the last side of my house, but unlike the other sides I need to replace the bottom trim. Anyone have recommendations on how I achieve this cut that allows the first row of clapboard be canted? I assume I can do it with a router, but I don't have the correct bit.

Windows Painted

Here are some pictures of the windows painted. I purchased new screen windows as well. The clapboard will be coming off soon.

Exterior Baseboard Trim

Here is a picture of the exterior baseboard trim that I will recreate for the rear of the house. It's critical that the water shed away from the house. Some exterior renovations get this part wrong and end up just caulking the bottom between the clapboard and base trim. That's just silly. Not the easiest cut to do on a table-saw though.

Siding the old porch

Fun times. OK,...so I'm back at it. I've removed the remaining aluminum siding from the house and recycled it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got to this section of the house and unfortunately the clapboard didn't line up flush with the clapboard on the right. This used to be the back porch to the house. Complete mess with no insulation underneath! I'll be removing the wood studs and replacing with new to make it flush with the siding on the right. I was thinking of filling the cavity on the bottom with foam, but now sure what insulation I should use between the studs. It will be fairly shallow. If you have any recommendations please let me know. I'll be removing all of the siding on this side of the house and wrapping in Tyvek and then re-installing the siding once it's stripped, though much of it will be thrown away because of cracks.

The red door on the bottom needs to be replaced too but have to figure out what type of door would be best. It's a small crawlspace.

Hello! I've still been working on this never ending project.....just took a bit of a break. Here's a gif of before (as it is now) and after (with use of photoshop) I hope to get someone to do the framing for the roof and entry for me. Can't wait for that to be done, so I have a nicer looking house!

Finished my painting on the front bay. As I was taking this picture, I was thinking the color scheme is a bit like the Subaru LL.Bean edition--but I'm ok with it.

Time to set up the scaffold and go up!

Installing clapboard today and finishing it off with a small copper roof above the windows by next weekend (weather permitting). Still trying to determine how far to project out from the house.

This section of house was so bad I decided to just rip off the old clapboard and replace with new. I'm using Tyvek and I have to say I really like the stuff over tar paper. It goes on easily and doesn't tear, and I like the tape as well. The stuffs not cheap though.

I bought some clapboard (clear 1/2x6x14) at a lumberyard close to my house and painted both sides with oil base paint. If the rain holds off, I'll be installing on Fri. There's a small roof that fits above the windows with a crown underneath. Should look nice when complete.

Installing Azek beadboard and Crown. The stuff is really great-nice and thick. The only problem I'm having is installing 18' lengths by yourself gets a bit hard since it's so flexible.

The sidewall photo is new solid cedar clapboard. No finger jointed.
