Found this beautiful Stickley chair for 15 bucks. Just needs a new leather seat and some fill for cushion. Anyone know of a good leather supplier for this kind of work?

That is a classy chair! I love the look of that quartersawn oak.

I unfortunately don't have any suppliers to suggest, but I'd be interested to see what you find. I have a similar chair (only bigger and with arms) that needs new upholstery too.

Hi James - Sorry for the comment here I'd rather do via private email but couldn't find yours. I recently wrote a post on my blog listing 16 American Foursquare blogs to follow and admire, and listed your website. I hope it’s OK (if not, let me know and I’ll remove).
Also - enjoying the DIY furniture repair posts. I'm learning that too - chair caning (pressed and weaved) as well as using embossed fiberboard to replace a leather seat in my mom's old rocking chair. Blog post is here https://everydayoldhouse.com/american-foursquare-home-blogs/ Thanks! Jen

Hi. My apologies for no replies. I hit a link to try the new blogger and then blam! I had comments dating back to 2017 that I never saw before lol...

So Seth regarding that chair it ended up being a rush chair, but I ended up getting it covered in leather because I couldn't find anyone to call me back that does that type of work. She eventually called back when I picked up the chair at the upholsterer Just my luck. It turned out nice, but rush would have been more appropriate.

Jen- thanks so much for adding me! What a great blog of Foursquares! I'll definitely be checking it out and adding it to my site.
