A very broken piano turned into a desk. The piano was beyond repair. I saved all of the remaining oak to later re-purpose. All metal including piano harp is now in my car for metal recycling. Man,... that harp was heavy.

Wow, that looks very nice! Props for keeping the natural wood too; I cringe at all the DIY furniture posts these days that involve covering over beautiful and exotic wood with cheap white paint.

Yeah....I hear ya on the white paint. Luckily this wood just needed a bit of amber shellac to come right back.
